THE ART OF WELCOMING YOU SINCE 1954

A house driven by passion

In 1954, it was within the walls of this house with its neo-Gothic architecture that a story of Chefs and Stars began. The picturesque setting and atypical charm of this former family boarding house ensure its immediate success. Chef Louis Outhier wants to make this establishment a prestigious address. A successful bet: in 1960, he obtained a first star in the Michelin guide, followed by a second in 1965 and a third five years later. After 34 years of excellence, Louis Outhier has returned his apron and his 3 stars to the Michelin Guide. L' Oasis closed its doors, but the idea of succession matured in the mind of the young Stéphane Raimbault, who took over the reins of this institution in 1991. The following year, he was awarded two stars and the challenge was met. A long and beautiful gourmet story that chefs Alain Montigny, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Nicolas Davouze, Bocuse d'or France, have been pursuing since this year, selected by chef Stéphane Raimbault. Every day they share with you their passion for gastronomy by putting all their art at the service of L'Oasis.

With more than 450 references from L' Oasis wine cellar, Pascal Paulze, sommelier and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, gives back to wine all its letters of nobility through the very fine selection on which he constantly works.

Alain Montigny was born under a lucky star. This former student of the school in Fréchon, then trained by Christian Constant, has climbed the ladder to the top of gastronomy. Over the years, the rigour and refinement he brings to his culinary creations have been rewarded with prestigious prizes. Thus, he won the coveted title of Best Worker of France 2004, winning the brilliant first star award in the Michelin Guide four years later.

In 2017 he pushed for the first time the doors of the villa rue Jean- Honoré Carle to discover l'Oasis, an emblematic restaurant with infinite nuances and magic by nature. Under the benevolent gaze of Stéphane Raimbault, who was doubly starred for 28 years, he became the Executive Chef of the three culinary addresses of the Domaine de Barbossi: L'Oasis, its Bistrot and Le Riviera Restaurant.

Made with respect to a craft tradition, you will have the pleasure of discovering a selection of products from the Domaine de Barbossi: olive oil, honey and wines from the vineyard. You will also find catering products made with the requirement of a starred restaurant: smoked salmon, foie gras and petits fours ... For Christmas and New Year, the traditional Christmas cake with chocolate and fruit is sublimated. We can also answer your requests for the realization of a particular creation.

In the Pastry & Chocolate Workshop, each professional is looking for new flavors with subtle tastes. Our baker makes a wide variety of breads and baguettes made from quality flours, with multiple and authentic tastes.
